Meet the Sister: Kelly Riggle
Position: Alumni Chair 2010-2011
Pledge Class: Alpha Nu - Spring 2009
Major/Minor: Animal Science Major/English Minor
Future Career Plans: I hope to go to veterinary school or become an animal science
grad student involved in research.
Why did you join KGD?
I wanted to find a group of girls that focused strongly on academics, were interested in the health fields, and loved to get together just to have fun.
How has KGD changed your life?
Everyone in KGD is passionate about their career goals and driven to succeed in serving others. I am always inspired by my sisters and am enjoying learning from them as well as beside them in classes and life.
What is your favorite part of KGD?
KGD has introduced me to a diverse group of girls that each bring their own unique flair to the group. Whenever the group gets together, they make me laugh and I find comfort knowing that no matter how different we are, we are all sisters that will be there for each other.
What are your interests?
I enjoy playing the piano, listening to music, and backpacking.
What type of extracurriculars are you involved with?
I have just begun working with ASUCD on a commission and I hope to find an internship working with large animals soon.
