Meet the Sister: Lara Cruz-Carandang

Major/Minor: Psychobiology
Future Career Plans: Psychiatry/Psychology
Why did you join KGD?
I joined KGD to meet girls who had similar goals and who could understand the pressures of the pre-medical process.
How has KGD changed your life?
KGD has introduced me to some of the most amazing people I have ever met in my entire life. It has helped me expand my horizons and has helped me learn so much about so many things beyond the pre-medical process. The girls have helped me realize that there are so many more ways to help people than just being a doctor which has helped me tailor my own career path.
What is your favorite part of KGD?
My favorite part of KGD are all the friendships I've made and really just hanging out with all the girls.
What are your interests?
I love to draw and paint and I'm also very interested in photography. I'm also mildly obsessed with tennis, hockey, basketball and soccer.
What type of extracurriculars are you involved with?
I work as a research assistant in some psychology labs on campus.
