Meet the Sister: Lisa Lam
Position: Secretary 2011-2012
Pledge Class: Alpha Xi - Fall 2009
Major/Minor: Nutrition Science
Future Career Plans: Dental school is my current goal and once that's achieved, hopefully specialize in orthodontics or surgical dentistry.
Why did you join KGD?
I wanted to meet girls who share the same interest as me in terms of going into the health field, as well as let loose a little and have some fun along the way! I also wanted to learn more about the process into professional school and how to better prepare myself for the future.
How has KGD changed your life?
KGD has made such an impact in my life in regards to becoming stronger mentally and emotionally. I've grown so much since I've been apart of this organization; it's taught me so much about myself and how to adapt to my surroundings.
What is your favorite part of KGD?
Most definitely the socials where we can all just chill out and celebrate after weeks of midterms/finals. Also, the fact that we all can say one thing about our day and someone else will go, "I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!"
What are your interests?
I like long walks on the beach.... hah! And, I love hiking, exploring and discovering beautiful places! Photography is my new passion and I wish I had the time work on it. Arts and crafts are my stress therapy. Oh, and I also have this weird obsession of collecting magnet souvenirs of places I go to.
