Meet the sister:
Why did you join KGD?
I decided to join KGD so that I could have a group of girls in my life that were academically oriented towards the same goal, and were motivated to put in the work to do it. I wanted to be inspired by the stories I heard and I wanted to challenge myself to learn from my sisters and become successful like them.
How has KGD changed your life?
KGD has changed how I view health professions overall. Being a pre-health student is not a race, but it’s a journey, and my sisters have helped me through each step of the way with their stories, advice and support. I have found a wonderful group of friends that love and support me, and I would not have been able to do so without KGD uniting me with them.
Favorite part of KGD?
My favorite part of KGD is that everyone is super helpful and always willing to do things together whether that may be social or academic!
Extracurriculars and interests?
I do Raas-Garba, which is an Indian type of dance and I’m on Davis’ professional team. I am also a part of EMRAP, which stands for Emergency Medicine Research Associates Program where I partake in enrolling patients in clinical research. I also enjoy cooking and watching Game of Thrones in my free time!
Fun fact about yourself:
I plan my instagram feed weeks before I post my pictures.
