Meet the Sister: Trang Thuy Nguyen
Position: Active 2010-2011
Pledge Class: Alpha Lambda - Spring 2008
Major/Minor: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, B.S.
Future Career Plans: To hopefully become either a pharmacist or a dentist
Why did you join KGD?
I want to find myself a niche, where I can make friends with people who have similar academic goals. KGD stood out from the rest of the fraternities and sororities on campus in that it stresses professionalism and seems to be a lot more academically focused. Therefore, KGD really appealed to me as an organization.
How has KGD changed your life?
I have met a lot of awesome people. KGD gave me a chance to know my pledge sisters, who I'm sure I can count on for anything.
What is your favorite part of KGD?
The sisterhood! The community service is another favorite part of mine. KGD provides many opportunities to benefit not only ourselves, but the community as well.
What are your interests?
Foreign languages, arts, exercise, Kpop, other than that, typical things people my age are into.
What type of extracurriculars are you involved with?
I was involved with Red Cross, and I hope to continue activities with them next school year. I'm hoping to get internships and participate in other clubs such as VSA and VNCares.
