Meet the sister:
Why did you join KGD?
I joined Kappa Gamma Delta because I wanted to be a part of an ambitious and driven pre-health sorority. Not only was the pre-health aspect appealing, I also wanted to surround myself with a community that offered nothing but kindness and all forms of support.
How has KGD changed your life?
I've definitely already created so many incredible memories and met and connected with people very different from myself which I would've never thought I'd do. After joining KGD, I've been more inspired to get involved and have been more confident in my own capabilities.
Favorite part of KGD?
Being at UC Davis, it was always tough for me to maintain friendships with my classmates within such a large community, however, after joining KGD, I was able to create unforgettable memories with amazing people. My favorite part is definitely finding my niche and being able to see many familiar faces all over campus. The little things really do make a huge difference on the overall college experience and I didn't realize that until I joined KGD.
Extracurriculars and interests?
I enjoy playing badminton, drawing, and playing video games. As a child, I loved drawing so much my parents were afraid I would actually pursue a career in becoming an artist. I played badminton for four years in high school and I plan on joining the badminton club here as well. I've always played a bunch of video games since I grew up with a bunch of boys.
Fun fact about yourself:
I was born left handed like my dad but since it's bad luck in Chinese culture to be left handed, I was force to become right handed. I write and do many other things with my right hand but I also use my left often like when I brush my teeth! So I like to call myself ambidextrous.
