Meet the Sister
Angelica McDaniel
Why did you join KGD?
I wanted to find a group of people who would support my future goals and help me through the process of being a pre-med at such a large university. I believed that joining this sorority would keep me focused on my studies and help me meet like-minded people.
How has KGD changed your life?
KGD has taught me how to be confident in professional settings and how to manage my time wisely. As pre-med students, our lives are always busy with internships and classes, both of which require organizational skills and professionalism.
Favorite part of KGD?
My favorite part of KGD would be the volunteering aspect as it’s fun to get off campus and immerse myself in the community all while bonding with my sisters.
Extracurriculars and interests?
Music is very important to me, and my taste ranges from Broadway to alternative music. I also did theater for 7 years and once school calms down a bit I hope to find a club on campus that I can continue my acting.
Fun fact about yourself:
I am half Colombian and look nothing like my family.
