Meet the Sister
Bhavana Pabbisetti
Why did you join KGD?
Coming to UC Davis, I really wanted to make the most of college, academically and socially. I knew I was not a sorority girl but I didn’t want that from stopping me for doing more. I came across KGD at CoHo during the second week of college and I got immediately interested since it was a pre-health sorority. After talking to the sisters, I realized they not only shared the same career goal but were very determined to help each other achieve their dreams. The accomplishments, the sisterhood, and the drive to be better made KGD very appealing. Now that I am part of KGD, I couldn’t feel more grateful as it only made my interest for medicine stronger.
How has KGD changed your life?
KGD has given me more confidence in myself by teaching me professionalism and academic tips that help me stay organized and sane under pressure. It also helped me socially as I never imagined I would have such strong friendships with my sisters in such a short time!
Favorite part of KGD?
I love the fact that KGD sisters are everywhere! I see them in my classes, at CoHo and even in the dorms. I am never alone and I can always reach out to someone whether I just want to hang out or ask advice from.
Extracurriculars and interests?
In my free time, I love to play sports especially track and field events, tennis, volleyball and basketball. I enjoy having spontaneous karaoke/dance sessions and movie marathons with my friends! I also love to travel and do outdoor activities such as hiking and skydiving.
Fun fact:
I am a big tennis fan! I went to the US Open Tennis Championships this summer and I hope to go to all the other grand slams around the world at least once in my life!
