Why did you join KGD?
I joined KGD because I was seeking academic support when I first stepped foot onto the college campus where I was lost and eager to find determined people who could help me be successful in many aspects of college experiences.
How has KGD changed your life?
KGD has changed my life because I did not only receive the academic support I expected, I also developed the kind of relationships I never thought I would with so many girls. Being the only girl out of all my cousins and sibling, I never knew what having a sister felt like, especially having so many sisters who I know I can rely on.
Favorite part of KGD?
I love KGD for the unity of the girls’ goals and accomplishments. We all go on our days hoping one day we could contribute to society by providing service regardless of what path we eventually go on. Most importantly of all, we find so much value in being part of this community, and I feel as each and every one of us genuinely love and are passionate with the things we do. It inspires me and encourages me to be better every day.
Extracurriculars and interests?
I enjoy doing makeup on myself as well as on other people. It makes me feel put together and already to go on with my day. I also love art. Drawing myself or just appreciating other people’s work. I also binge watch Netflix like there’s no tomorrow. And I love food.
Fun fact about yourself:
I have no sense of direction. I used to get lost in my own neighborhood.
