Meet the Sister
Why did you join KGD?
I joined KGD at the end of my freshman year because I realized that despite having lived in Davis for several months, I hadn’t really found “my place” in Davis and I had done nothing of significance in the community that I called home. I wanted that to change, and I came to KGD looking for a community of support that I could call my own.
How has KGD changed your life?
When I was younger, I moved around a lot, and as a result, I struggled to make many meaningful connections with people. KGD helped me find a group of friends that I love spending time with, and in the short time that I’ve been a part of the sorority, I have learned so much about myself.
Favorite part of KGD?
My favorite part of KGD is the support it offers. Beyond academic support, KGD offers emotional and social support that makes me feel more connected to people and less alone.
Extracurriculars and interests?
I recently got a part-time job working at the CoHo, but in my free time, I like to read and watch Netflix.
Fun fact about yourself:
I lived in Hong Kong for three years.
